Our Vision
As followers of Jesus we strongly believe in new life. Our community of Bentleigh and East Bentleigh is growing in numbers and becoming more multi-cultural. The renovation of our buildings is a sign of our willingness to serve and grow with our community, and to live our faith courageously in today’s world. We dream of deepening our connections to community, welcoming more people, and sharing God’s good news in Jesus.

Inclusiveness
St John’s aims to be an inclusive church, recognising our Christian tradition where Jesus sought out and invited all people into the Kingdom of God. We prize everyone as a unique child of God. We welcome all people because of Christ's calling to treat others as we desire to be treated. We strive for an environment of mutual respect, hospitality and warmth in which none are strangers and all may flourish.
Children are welcome to our services and church events, and children’s activities are provided on Sundays throughout the school year.
St John’s is physically accessible for those with mobility issues. We also provide hearing aid and vision impairment support.
Our Committment to Safety
St John’s is committed to protecting the safety of all people within its programs, ministries and events.
All people, regardless of age, gender, race, culture, disability and family or social background have equal rights to this protection.
All people (including children) have the right to be respected and valued as well as feel emotionally, physically and spiritually safe at all times.
